1 exceptional condition U.S. World War 2 aluminum handle fighting knife available.  This U.S. fighting knife is ID'd.  This knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The front of the sheath is marked 'USNR  D.J. JOHNSON'.  In addition, the vet marked the sheath with a Navy anchor.  

The blade measures 7 7/8".  This large knife measures 12 1/2" overall.   

The handle is very much like is found on certain New Zealand-made WW2 fighting knives.  U.S. servicemen bought fighting knives from New Zealand while they were in the Pacific in World War 2.   

This WW2 fighting knife and sheath are in excellent condition.
