1 rare condition antique Ka-bar exchange-blade hatchet/hunting knife combo.  This beautiful antique wood handle combo would make an important addition to any collection.

The sheath for this rare condition set is decorated with tooling.  The knife blade is stamped 'UNION CUTLERY CO.  OLEAN, N.Y.'.  The knife has a 4 11/16" blade.  When affixed to the handle, the hatchet measures 12" overall.  The hatchet is stamped 'KA-BAR   REG.U.S.PAT.OFF.'. 

This antique Kabar knife/hatchet combo is in rare condition.  Both knife and hatchet have their original factory perfect edges.  The knife blade's edge has never been used.  The hatchet was tried a few times as evidenced by some surfacy, micro-finish marks.  The wood handle is perfect.  The sheath is perfect.
