The hard maple handle has a couple of tight, stable hairline cracks up near the screw threads. There are some minor chips in the wood up next to the screw threads. The blade is excellent. It is in as-found condition--hasn't even seen a dab of simichrome polish. The light patina on the blade would clean up or diminish in appearance nicely if the buyer chooses to do so.
