1 antique Shimada/Soshu sue koto Japanese Samurai o-tanto sword available.  This is a rare, rare hitatsura full temper sword.  This rare Japanese Samurai sword would make an important addition to any collection.

As mentioned in the sub-heading, this sword is just back from being polished by Bob Benson.  This will be a fun sword for a collector!  There is no habaki or shirasaya.  The nakago is unsigned.  The buyer should bring this sword straight to the next shinsa.  When I sent this sword to Bob for polish, he tried to buy it from me before polish.  I took that as a good sign!

The blade measures 13 1/8" (33.3 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  This sword's hitatsura/full temper is so very rare.  And, it's already polished.! 

This Hitatsura Japanese O-Tanto sword is in full polish.  This is an exceptional piece.  This sword's temper is way more dynamic than my mediocre photographic skills show.
