The blade measures 15 11/16" (39.8 cm)--as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. The nakago is signed with the swordsmith's name.
The blade has a traditional suguha hamon/temper line. This sword is mounted in shirasaya (Japanese resting scabbard).
This wakizashi is in original polish. The blade has no nicks. The temper line and boshi are healthy. The shirasaya is in excellent condition.
