1 traditionally-made, water-tempered Japanese WW2 gendai sword by Ikkansai Kunimori available.  Kunimori’s art name was Yasuhiro while he was at the Yasukuni Shrine.  This fine antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.

The blade measures 25 1/4" from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  This is a traditional gendai sword--there are no arsenal or Showa stamps on the nakago.

This sword has desirable mounts—all fittings are blackened; these are premium mounts.

Yasuhiro/Kunimori made mostly swords with suguha/straight hamons—this sword has a wavy hamon, quite rare for Kunimori.

This sword is in excellent condition.  There is an occasional tiny nick in the blade edge.  The blade has tiny scratches as one might expect from a WW2 sword.
