1 rare Colin Cox custom model 8 fighting survival knife available.  This large 14 7/16" fighting knife by the late Colin Cox would make a rare addition to any collection. 

The handle is hollow.  The pommel cap contains a compass.  The guard is solid brass.  Note the awesome design of the extended lower guard.  The blade spine was file-worked by Colin. 

The blade is marked 'Colin COX   Raymore, Missouri'. 

The scabbard is a fine Byrds leather sheath.  The top of the scabbard is stamped 'SURV.   8-9   C. COX'.  The back of the sheath is stamped 'BYRDS LEATHER   ORLANDO, FL.'.
