1 rarest of banner-etched World War II 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knives available.  This knife is etched on one side of the blade 'COMMANDO KNIFE'.  This is a rare etch

The blade on this knife is also the blackened variation--blackened Wilkinson F-S are much harder to find. 

This knife is Id'd to a Lieutenant.  The blade is etched '1st LIEUT MARSHALL BOONE'.  This fighting knife would make a rare addition to any World War II, or world militaria collection.


There are no markings on the guard. 

This World War 2 2nd Pattern F-S is in mint condition.  The blade is perfect.  The guard and handle are perfect.  The nylon keeper strap is intact.
