1 Japanese World War 2 Naval Officer's dress sword. This fine Japanese Naval Officer's dress sword would make an important addition to any collection.
The saya is leather with gold-gilted fittings. The blade is nickel-plated with bohi grooves.
Note the manufacturer's 'harp' symbol on the guard.
The blade is excellent with 90% plating. The larger wire on the handle is broken in one spot so isn't present on 3 of its original 9 loops around the handle. The two small wires are intact. The leather on the saya is in nice shape. The brass fittings have some vertigris. The blade slides into and out of the saya perfectly, and locks in place.
