The ancient 17th-18th century Japanese yajiri/arrowpoint would have been used by true Samurai. This arrowpoint measures 5 15/16" (15.1 cm), including the tang. The point itself measures 2 1/16" (5.2 cm) by 1" wide (2.5 cm).
The hamon/temper line is visible along both blade edges.
The first character in the smith's name is on one side, and the second character is on the other.
This fine Japanese Samurai yanone is in excellent condition. The point is in original Japanese polish--a collector may wish to have it polished. There are no cracks/hagire--this point is in fine condition. The hamon/temper line is healthy.
