1 antique Japanese Samurai wakizashi available. This sword has an old family blade. This Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.
This 17th Century sword was later carried during World War 2. The leather combat cover over the wood saya shows that this sword was carried during the second World War.
The nakago/tang is unsigned. The menuki are gold gilt and shakudo Fu dogs. The fuchi/kashira are matching. The blade measures 21 5/16" from the tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. The hamon/temper line isn't the easiest to see--the blade has surface finish scratches. But, the hamon is wavy.
The blade has just one mentionable pit. The blade has only occasional nail-catcher type nicks. The mounts are nearly perfect.
