1 ancient Japanese Samurai ken sword available.  This Japanese ken sword has horimono carvings on the blade.  This sword would make a desirable addition to any collection.

This is a large ken.  The blade itself measures 12 1/8" (30.8 cm) (measured properly).

One side of the blade is carved with a dragon horimono.  The other side of the blade has a the sacred ball.  There is also well-carved Japanese kanji on this side. 

The horimono carving on this ken sword is of exceptional quality. 

The blade has some oxidation near its tip.  The very tip of the blade is blunted.  This would be a great piece to have polished.  The horimono is excellent.  The hamon/temper line displays nicely.  The blade is straight.  There are occasional lacquer chips on this old sword. 

The temper line and boshi are perfectly healthy.  This sword is guaranteed against fatal flaws.

A large Japanese Samurai ken sword with horimono would make a fine addition to any collection.
