1 very fine early 19th century German trousse set.  This antique German trousse would make an important addition to any collection.

The sheath for this trouse is marked with the date '1813' A.D.  This set has a knife, fork, and a sharpening steel to keep the knife perfectly sharp.  The knife is stamped either 'KEII' or 'KELL'.  The knife measures 8 7/8" in length.  The blade itself measures 4 7/8". 

Each piece is has Silver fittings with finely detailed carving. 

This antique ca.1813 German trousse set is in beautiful condition for its age.  The fine sharpening steel is missing one of its ten handle decorations.  The knife blade has a few spots of minor pitting.  The carved Silver fittings between the handle scales has some cosmetic only damage.  One of the two fork tips has a crack (photo 5)--this can either be fixed or shortened--or better, left as is.  This knife, as well as its fork and sharpener, could be carried for another 200 years.
