This 19th Century French Bowie is in exceptional condition.  It was well cared for.

The blade is marked 'ARTHAUD ET MARTIN    A BOURBONNE'.  The handle is made of fine stag.  There is no sheath.  

This is a very fine 1800's edged weapon.  This large Bowie measures 19 1/2" overall!  The blade itself measures 12 7/8".  

This 19th Century edged weapon is in exceptional condition.  The blade is excellent.  If the buyer chooses to remove the occasional surface oxidation, rest assured it is so superficial, so minor that no pitting will be left behind.  The handle is beautiful--no cracks or chips.  The guard is perfectly tight.
