The soldier who make this knife was skilled! What an attractive fighting knife. Note the finger-grooved handle, the wood sheath, and the embedded Silver and copper Panamanian coins.
The soldier carved his name in the handle and sheath ‘Edlow L. Carter Panama 1944‘.
This large WW2 Bowie measures 15 3/4″ overall. The blade itself measures 10 1/2″.
