1 vintage U.S. Vietnam War jet pilot survival knife. This U.S. jet pilot knife was made by Camillus in November, 1968. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This jet pilot knife has a 5″ blade. The original sharpening stone is marked.
The Vietnam US Jet Pilot Knife, officially the Type No 4 Survival Knife, was a standard-issue, multi-purpose survival tool for aircrews and soldiers, famous for its 5-inch saw-back blade, distinctive leather sheath with a sharpening stone pouch, and makers like Camillus and Ontario. Originally 6 inches, it was shortened to 5 inches for practicality.
CONDITION:
This U.S. Vietnam War knife and its sheath are in excellent condition. The blade edge was kept expertly sharpened.
