1 antique U.S. Officer’s model M1902 dress sword available.  This is an Ames Mfg. Presentation sword–it is etched on the blade:

‘DONATED BY CAPT. CHAS. B. EGGEN, S.C.   PRESIDENT, DEPARTMENT OF KANSAS R.O.A.’.  The reverse side of the blade is etched ‘2ND LT. EMMETT E. WILSON, INF.   FIRST PRIZE IN DEPARTMENT MEMBERSHIP CONTEST 1931’. 

This sword was made by Ames Mfg. for the Gelhaar Uniform Co. of Kansas City, MO.

This ca.1931 U.S. sword has its original canvas sword bag with it.  Inside the top flap it is marked ‘Lt. Emmett Wilson   353rd Infantry’.

CONDITION:

The canvas sword bag is in excellent condition.  The sword blade, handle, etc. are in exceptional condition.  The scabbard has some surface patina.  It will polish up nicely with Flitz or Simichrome polish.
