Description
1 rare, near-mint condition U.S. World War II blade-marked Case XX M3 trench knife. This near-mint knife has a matching near-mint L&C M6 scabbard. This knife and scabbard would make a premium addition to any collection.
This is a rare blued M3. The blade-marked knife is stamped on the blade ‘U.S.M3 CASE‘. This knife measures 11 7/16″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 5/8″. The pommel is peened. The end of the pommel is stamped with a small miniature flaming bomb.
The M6 scabbard is stamped on its front ‘U.S. M6 L&C 1943 FJA‘.
CONDITION:
This rare blued U.S. M3 trench knife and M6 scabbard are in near-mint condition. There is only a very occasional superficial handling mark on knife and sheath. The pommel and guard have just barely the beginnings of mild oxidation. The blade is perfect–no rust, with its unused factory edge–and with the original factory machining marks on the blade.
