1 Vietnam War 1968 Gerber Mark II fighting knife.  This Vietnam fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This Gerber is serial number ‘008598’.  The sheath has the 3-line Gerber stamp, and the right-hand keeper strap.  Year 1968 Gerber Mark II sheaths had both 3-line and 2-line Gerber stamps.

The soldier that carried this Mark II had an amazing inscription engraved on the blade.  On one side he had the inscription engraved ‘MAY MY AIM BE TRUE‘, and ‘ROB RA11312690‘.  On the other side of the blade is inscribed ‘Return To: Mrs. Joann Palifini‘, and ‘342 Pulaski, Staten Is. New York‘.  

 

 

CONDITION:

This Vietnam Gerber Mark II fighting knife is in exceptional condition!  The blade has no nicks, and no rust.  The blade edges are very sharp–be careful!  The sheath is in excellent condition as well.

This excellent 1968 Vietnam Mark II knife with awesome inscription would make a rare and important addition to any collection.
