This is a desirable, and highly collectible, WW2 field configuration.
The blade measures 26 1/16″ (66.2 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
CONDITION:
This vintage World War II Japanese sword is in excellent condition. There are occasional small nicks in the blade edge. The mounts are in exceptional condition. Some 50 plus years after the War, someone tried to unlace the leather tsuka cover and then quit as they came to realize that the tsuka cover may get damaged, so they quit.
