Description

1 Joseph Rodgers Sheffield knife for sale.  This is the Joseph Rodgers folding swing guard Bowie.  This knife would make a fine addition to any collection.

The blade is marked ‘Sheffield Steel’.  The ricasso is stamped ‘No.6 Sheffield Steel’.  On the reverse side, Joseph Rodgers’ two cross stamps are visible.

Overall length in the open position is 12 3/16.   The blade itself measures 7 1/8″.

The front bolster is marked ‘No.6’.  The handle scales are made of horn.

 

CONDITION:

This Joseph Rodgers Sheffield knife has excellent snap, and locks up nicely.  There is a little blade wiggle.  This knife was carried and used.
