This dirk measures 13 3/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 8 3/8″. This dagger has a polished hamon.
The handle has a wire-wrapped genuine same/rayskin grip.
CONDITION:
This WW2 Japanese Naval Officer’s dirk is in excellent condition. There are two tiny spots of carbon staining on the blade. All fittings are nice and tight. The wire handle wrap is missing the middle wire. The locking mechanism functions perfectly.
This Imperial Japanese Navy Officer’s dirk would make an important addition to any Japanese sword or world militaria collection.
