1 very early Rick Hinderer custom knife available. I corresponded with Rick about this knife, and he told me he made it right around 1993–just 6 years after he started making knives. This early Hinderer Bowie fighter would make a rare addition to any collection.
Rick made this Bowie fighter with a 6 11/16″ blade with a sharpened false edge. This fighting knife measures 11 5/8″ overall.
This knife has a stabilized burlwood handle, and a brass guard. The sheath is marked on the back ‘157-11’.
Rick mentioned that he would be willing to write an authentication letter for this knife. This was prior to the Blade Show, so he said it would have to wait until after Blade. Perhaps Rick would be willing to provide a letter if the buyer asks him after purchase.
