U.S. Navy Officer’s sword is in excellent condition.  The mother-of-pearl grips are perfect–which is amazing for a sword this old.  The sword blade has very little oxidation.  One guard quillion is broken off (old break).  There is a an old period repair to the scabbard about 6″ from the finial.
