The image of candidate Abraham Lincoln is a tintype (aka ferrotype). The image of vise presidential candidate Hanibal Hamlin on the reverse side is gone. The important image, Lincoln’s tintype, is in perfect condition.
This campaign medal is gold-gilted. It measures 15/16″ in diameter.
