The saya has the collector-coveted sharkskin covering.  The blade measures 25 15/16" (65.9 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The nakago/tang is signed Masanobu.  There is an arsenal stamp.  The back side of the nakago is not dated.  

This WW2 Navy Officer's sword has fine gold-gilt fittings.  This sword has a fine wavy hamon/temper line.

This WW2 katana comes with its original Naval Officer's tassel.  

This sword is in mint condition.  The blade is in 100% polish, and the koshirae is in mint condition.

The temper line and boshi are perfectly healthy.  This sword is guaranteed against fatal flaws.
