1 difficult to find large WW2 Chindit fighting knife. Long-rage Penetration Groups (Chindits) were tasked with carrying out disruptive raids behind enemy lines during World War 2 in the Burma theater.
The Chindits were soldiers from British, Burmese, Gurkhas, West Africans, as well as soldiers from Hong Kong.
This large knife measures 14 1/4" overall. This knife has its original sheath. The sheath is stamped with maker markings on its back.
This rare large Chindit knife is in excellent condition! The blade has the expected carbon staining.
