1 rare, uncarried condition World War II 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife available.  This 2nd pattern knife has a rare variation scabbard.  This 2nd pattern British F/S fighting knife, with its rare variation sheath, would make an important addition to any collection.

This F-S fighting knife measures 11 7/8" overall. The blade itself measures 7". The guard is marked 'ENGLAND', and 'B2'.  The broad arrow mark is also stamped on the guard.

This 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife is in rare condition.  This knife was never carried.  The blade has 100% of its original bluing.  There is no oxidation on the blade--at all.  (The brownish color on some of the blade photos is just lighting when photographing--you can see in photos 4, 7, & 10 that there is no oxidation whatsoever.  The blade is 100%.)  The pommel nut has never been messed with.  Everything is nice and tight on this knife.

The scabbard is in perfect condition.  Only a couple of micro-scratches on the knife's guard, and an occasional tiny scuff on the sheath are the only signs of handling on this knife over the years.

This rare uncarried World War II 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, with its rare variation scabbard, would make a fine addition to any collection.
