The early serial number on the guard is '484164', meaning it was made in 1984.  Parrish's 8" combat survival knife is a sought-after model. 

The blade is stamped 'RP'.  This knife has three rows of serrated teeth on the blade spine.  The handle is hollow with a screw-off pommel.  The sheath is kydex with a thick leather belt loop. 

This awesome Robert Parrish combat/survival knife was carried for a short time.  It was likely carried just a couple of times as the knife and sheath show very little signs of carry.  The knurled handle has a few stains--which can be cleaned up back to normal.  The blade edge was expertly sharpened.  Other than that, only an occasional tiny, micro finish scratch can be found.
