1 vintage World War II U.S. Army Knife LC-14-B available.  This LC-14-B fighting knife/machete is known as The Woodsman's Pal.  This fighting machete comes with original manuals and with its original sharpening stone.  This Woodsman's Pal set would make an important addition to any WW II collection.

The blade is stamped 'WOODSMAN'S PAL   280   TRADE MARK -- PAT # 2335497   VICTOR TOOL CO.-READING, PA.'.  The guard is stamped 'LC-14-B'.  The original books included with this Woodsman's Pal fighting machete are:

Each manual was printed in March of 1943.

This vintage World War II Woodsman's Pal fighting machete is in excellent condition.  The condition of this fighting machete is really rather extraordinary as these machetes are often in heavily oxidized condition.  The stone is perfect.  The scabbard is almost perfect with only one small scuff in the canvas.  The books are in excellent condition.
