1 hard-to-find ID'd Langbein U.S. World War 2 fighting knife available. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This World War 2 fighting knife is identified to a Captain. The handle is engraved 'Capt. Conrad Moses O-482995'.
This knife measures 12 1/8" overall. The blade itself measures 7 1/4".
The blade was hand-sharpened on a stone. The original factory grind lines can be seen on the entire blade. There is some staining from oxidation on the blade and handle. The scabbard is in nice condition. (I see that I missed taking a photo of the other side of the knife--not to worry. If you wish to purchase today, it is in the same condition on the back side. I will add more pictures tomorrow when I am back to work.)
