1 vintage U.S. World War 2 KnifeCrafters combat knife. This desirable KnifeCrafters fighting knife was made using a cut-down U.S. Civil War sword blade. This WW2 knife would make an important addition to any collection.
The blade is from a German-made U.S. Union Civil War sword. The blade tang is stamped 'W. CLAUBERG SOLINGEN'. The Clauberg knight image is also stamped on the tang. The blade has etched filigree designs.
This knife measures 12 5/8" overall. The blade itself measures 7". This knife has its original KnifeCrafters sheath with it.
This fine U.S. World War 2 Knife Crafters fighting knife is in beautiful condition. The blade, handle, and guard are all nearly perfect. Everything is nice and tight on this fine knife as well. The scabbard is in excellent condition--with all stitches, rivets, the leather thong, and the keeper strap are in perfect condition.
