1 U.S. World War 2 PRESENTATION 1918 Mk1 trench knife. This knife was presented to a U.S. 2-Star General. This knife would make an incredible addition to any collection.
The 'U.S. 1918 LF&C - 1918' marked was ground off the handle so that the knife could be engraved with the presentation 'LOU WITTE TO J.C. FEGAN MAJ. GEN. U.S.M.C.'.
2-Star General Joseph C. Fegan (Sr.) served the Marine Corps during World War 2. (His son, Joseph C. Fegan, Jr., also went on to become a Major General in the Marine Corps).
The person who made this presentation knife replaced the blade and skull-crusher pommel with those he machined himself.
This highly collectible U.S. General presentation knife is in exceptional condition.
