The actual US Mountain and Ski Troops knife photographed in Mike Silvey's book Pocket Knives of the United States Military. This documented Ulster WW2 ski troops knife would make an important addition to any advanced collection.
Photos 1 and 2 above were taken of this knife lying over the page from the Silvey's book page 70. This is the actual knife.
This is an early variation of the 10 Mountain Div. knife, and is difficult to find. This early variation had the philips screwdriver (for ski bindings) located on the bail.
The knife's master blade measures 2 1/2". This knife measures 3 7/16" overall when closed.
This knife is in excellent condition. Rust was taken off the two knife blades in the past. The knife is in the exact condition as it was pictured in Mike Silvey's WW2 book. All blades have strong snap, and no looseness or wiggle.
