1 exceptionally rare vintage U.S. Vietnam War Tiger Force fighting knife.  This holy grail-type U.S. fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This Vietnam fighting knife was made for a 'TIGER FORCE   101ST ABN' member, and is so-marked on the blade.  The handle has the 101st Airborne insignia embedded in the handle.  The handle is incredible.  The handle is bone, and is carved into a tiger's head. 

The knife's blade tang is stamped 'KA-BAR'.  This knife measures 11 1/2" overall.  The blade itself measures 6 7/8" to the guard.

This U.S. Vietnam Tiger Force combat knife is in excellent condition.  The blade has old sharpening marks and scratches from use.  The handle has a tight, stable crack on the one side.  This could have happened when, or shortly after, the handle was carved--as the crack is partially filled.  Some material already is missing from the crack so this is an old, old fill.  Again, the handle is perfectly stable.  The tiger head carving is perfect.  The scabbard is in almost perfect condition.
