1 vintage U.S. Vietnam War Seven Inch Recon combat knife by Japan Sword.  This is one of the rarest SOG knives--arguably the rarest, as this appears to be one of the early Prototypes.   Mike Silvey points out in his book SOG Knife Collector on page 13 of another seven inch recon, "A retired CIA operative brought this knife back from Vietnam.  It was recognized by Ben Baker as one of a few prototypes provided during the process of selecting the seven inch recon knife."

This rare SOG fighting knife would make an exceptional addition to any collection.  

This knife came to me with no sheath.  

The knife blade measures 6 7/8”.  Note the zoomed in photos of the natural irregular aging striations in the white spacer below the guard.
