This Gerber is serial number '9534'. The original owner of this Gerber back in 1968 chose not to purchase a sharpening steel for it. This Vietnam Gerber measures 11 7/8" overall. The blade itself measures 6 3/4".
The sheath has the 3-line Gerber stamp, and the right-hand keeper strap.
This Vietnam War period 1968 Gerber Mark II is in mint condition. There is only one tiny paint nick on the pommel about the size of 1/2 of a grain of rice. This Gerber Mark II is uncarried, and unused.
