1 hard to find Japanese World War 2 Flag Sword available. This rare Japanese flag sword would make an important addition to any collection.
Above is a photo from Jim Dawson's book Swords of Imperial Japan 1868-1945, Cyclopedia Edition page 72 on the Japanese flag sword.
This sword measures 29” overall when in its scabbard. The flag is silk.
This Japanese WW2 flag sword is in excellent condition. Parts of the center strand of handle wire are missing on the grip. The handle rayskin is in excellent condition. Rayskin (called 'same' in Japanese) is much less common on Japanese parade swords. The silk flag has one of its two string ties (the string is simple though and looks like common string found in the U.S., so one or both strings can be replaced easily).
(If paying via credit card or PayPal, 4% credit card fee/PayPal fee added to the purchase price).
