1 fabulous U.S. Navy WW2 Seabee knife available. This knife is ID'd to the Seabee that carried it--he also wrote each theater location where he served on the scabbard.
The top of the sheath is marked 'U.S.N. "SEA-BEES" S.T. HOWZE 1941-1944. CAN DO!'. He also drew a steam shovel here on the sheath--really cool.
The bottom half of the sheath is marked with all the places he served. The locations are, in part, 'San Francisco, Oahu, Perth Australia, Pearl Harbor, Guam, Palawan Isle, Leyte, Lubang Isle, Bataan, Luzon, Tinian, Saipan, Maug Isle, Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal, Peleliu, New Guinea, Truk'.
The knife is in nice condition. The steel pommel cap will turn some if checking for looseness, but it doesn't really matter--what a great knife. The sheath is in excellent condition.
