ST. CROIX BLADES BUYS JAPANESE SWORDS

1 antique World War II Japanese samurai Army Officer's sword available.  The blade is a fine gendai sword by Ishido Teruhide.  This very fine Japanese Army katana would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade measures 26 3/8" (67.0 cm)--as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.  

Teruhide is featured in John Slough's book An Oshigata Book of Modern Japanese Swordsmiths 1868-1945 on page 171.  See photo above.  

This fine gendaito is in excellent condition.  The blade has no nicks and just a small burr at the very tip.  The blade has only minor staining with no rust.
