1 traditionally-made, water-tempered Japanese WW2 gendai sword available. This fine antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.
The blade measures 25 3/8" (64.5cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. The nakago is signed. This sword was made by Mori Kunitoshi. This is a traditional gendai sword--there are no arsenal or Showa stamps on the nakago. Kunitoshi was a RikugenJumei Tosho during World War 2.
The hamon is very complex—this is a exceptional sword.
This sword is in excellent condition. The blade has occasional minor scratches and an occasional spot of micro-pitting. The hamon and boshi are perfectly healthy.
