1 antique (likely 17th Century) Japanese samurai wakizashi sword available. This Japanese Samurai sword would make a fine addition to any collection.
The blade measures 20 1/2" (52.7 cm)--as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. The nakago is signed with the swordsmith's name. This sword has a 2-piece gold wash habaki.
The blade has a traditional suguha hamon/temper line. This sword is mounted in shirasaya (resting scabbard).
This wakizashi is in excellent polish. The blade has no nicks. The temper line and boshi (tempered turnback just back from the blade tip) are perfectly healthy. One side of the blade has two ware. The shirasaya is in perfect condition.
