1 antique Japanese WW2 Army tanto available.  This small Japanese tanto sword would make an important addition to any collection.

Japanese officers were allowed to carry katanas during World War 2.  Enlisted were not allowed to—many of these men carried a tanto sword like this one in their packs to invoke the spirit of the Samurai.  

This tanto sword has an unusual and desirable blade shape.  

The mumei blade measures 5 3/8”.  This tanto measures 9 9/16” overall with its saya/scabbard.  

The blade is in pretty nice polish.  The buffalo horn tsuka collar had some minor insect activity in the past on kne side.
