1 antique Japanese WW2 gendaito sword by Nobufusa available. This fine antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.
Nobufusa was judged a Sword Forging Teacher at the 1941 Exhibition. Nobufusa was a highly rated gendai smith--2.5 Million Yen. The traditional, water-tempered blade measures 68.3 cm (26 7/8") from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. This gendai was mounted in Samurai koshirae for the War.
This sword is in beautiful condition. The mounts are excellent. The blade is in polish with an occasional light scratch. There are no nicks in the blade edge. The blade is perfectly straight.
The hamon and boshi are perfectly healthy.
