1 German World War 2 Nazi Officer SA dagger available. This antique SA Dagger was made by 'SMF'. This dagger comes with its original leather hanger--a nice addition. This WW2 German SA Dagger would make an important addition to any German WW2 collection.
This dagger measures 13 5/8" overall. The blade itself measures 8 11/16". The blade is etched 'Alles fur Deutfchland'. The reverse side is etched with the maker's name, and logo.
The scabbard has its original leather hanger attached--something often stripped from a dagger and sold alone.
This dagger has some areas of patina on the blade--but no pitting. It looks to have been carefully/expertly sharpened subtley towards the tip. There are no cracks or chips in the wood grip. There are occasional small marks on the surface of the wood from handling. All parts of this dagger are tight with no looseness or wiggle. The scabbard's original anodized finish is clearly visible--some of the photos show it better than others due to different lighting choices. There is occasional surface oxidation in this anodized area. The very tip of the scabbard is slightly dented from being dinged by something. The leather hanger is missing its leather retaining loop (the leather strap, which is intact and in good condition with no crazing, goes through a stitched leather loop holding the two portions of the leather strap against each other).
