1 very fine World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer's sword available.  This gendai sword has a rare and desirable 'crab claw' hamon.  This fine katana would make an important addition to any collection.

All military fittings are of excellent quality.  The blade measures 26 5/16" (66.8 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The sword is unsigned.  The metal Army saya has a desirable spatter-lacquer finish.  This sword has 8 seppa.  Each fitting is matching--the tsuba, seppa, and fuchi are stamped '1'. 

This sword's attractive 'crab claw' temper line is very difficult to find.

 This Japanese WW2 Samurai Army Officer's sword is in exceptional condition.  The blade is in original Japanese polish.  There are no nicks, and only a couple of areas of mild pitting.  The hamon and boshi are perfectly healthy.  This sword is guaranteed against fatal flaws.  The handle wrap has two minor frays.  The saya/scabbard is perfect.  The locking mechanism works perfectly.
