This fine Case V-42 is in exceptional condition.  The blade is its full original length measuring 7 5/16".  This knife measures 12 5/8" overall.  This knife has the long style V-42 sheath.

This knife is in exceptional condition.  The blade has some of its original blued finish--in hand the blade now has light bluing.  This knife has its unused original factory edges.  The leather handle is perfect.  The skull crusher pommel has some surface oxidation.  The sheath is in beautiful condition.  An exceptional example WW2 First Special Service Force V-42.  For many collectors, the holy grail U.S. World War 2 knife.
