This sword is unique--it has a poem/omote which reads 'Virtue brings happiness'. The blade measures 21 7/16" (54.5 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
The fittings are all matching. They are fine iron fittings with gold gilt edges. The shakudo and gold gilt menuki are matching as well.
The kissaki tip has a 1/8" chip. There is plenty of boshi to reshape the kissaki. The boshi and hamon are perfectly healthy. There are no kizu in the blade. This is a beautiful sword--this sword deserves a polish.
This papered sword by Kinmichi with its omote 'Virtue brings happiness' would make an important addition to any collection.
