Anderson made fighting knives for World War 2 using blades cut from Patton swords. This knife was made with the base section of the Patton sword. The front ricasso is stamped 'L.F.&C. 1918'. The flaming bomb mark is stamped there as well. The reverse side is stamped 'U.S. No.13'.
The handle is marked 'ANDERSON GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA'. The reverse side is marked 'MADE IN USA'.
This rare unfinished Anderson fighting knife is in excellent condition.
