1 original U.S. World War 1 / World War II 1917 L.F.&C. trench knife available. This rare trench knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This trench fighting knife was made by L.F. & C. This knife measures 13 7/8" overall. The blade itself measures 8 7/8". This knife has 7 point knucks. 'U.S. L.F.&C. 1917' is stamped on the guard.
The scabbard is stamped 'M.S.' on the upper and lower fitting. The green leather portion of the scabbard is stamped 'JEWELL - 1918'.
This original U.S. World War 1 / World War 2 LF&C trench knife is in excellent condition. There is occasional minor oxidation on this knife. The bluing on the blade is 98%. The metal scabbard fittings have oxidation. The bottom fitting, like so many on this type of scabbard, will wiggle a bit when grasping it to check for movement.
